SLEO Volunteers Invited to Support the VEX Robotics World Championship in St. Louis (April 21-30)

Updated: Mar 13

Students Leading Educational Opportunities (SLEO) is excited to invite volunteers to participate in one of the world’s largest robotics competitions — the VEX Robotics World Championship, which will be held in St. Louis this year.

The VEX Robotics World Championship brings together more than 2,000 teams from around the world for ten days of exciting robotics competitions, innovation, and STEM learning. The event attracts thousands of students, educators, and robotics enthusiasts and offers a unique opportunity to experience international STEM collaboration.

Volunteer Opportunities

SLEO is organizing a volunteer group to support the event. Volunteers will help ensure the competition runs smoothly by serving in roles such as:

  • Field Resetters – resetting game elements between matches

  • Team Check-in Assistants – helping welcome teams and participants

  • Queue and Crowd Support – assisting with team flow and event organization

  • General Event Support – helping volunteers and staff as needed

Field reset volunteers work close to the competition field and get a front-row view of the action while helping the event stay on schedule.

Why Volunteer?

Volunteering at the VEX Robotics World Championship is a great opportunity for volunteers to:

  • Experience one of the world’s largest robotics competitions

  • Meet students and teams from many countries

  • Learn about robotics, engineering, and teamwork

  • Earn volunteer service hours

  • Contribute to a global STEM education event

Who Can Join?

SLEO welcomes students and parents interested in robotics, STEM, and community service to join our volunteer group.
