Robotics
Background
SLEO Robotics is a VEX Robotics community that first began with its key members in 2019, when they were in sixth grade. Over the past seven years, the community has focused on robot design, programming, driving skills, and engineering documentation while continuously developing strong teamwork, organization, and communication skills.
Their team has qualified for the VEX Robotics World Championship three times and has consistently achieved excellent results in state competitions. In 2026, they once again earned their first overall championship and received the Excellence Award, securing their place at the World Championship in St. Louis.
Beyond competitions, SLEO Robotics actively promotes VEX Robotics within their school districts and board communities. Team members often serve as volunteers and communication ambassadors at local and international events, helping with translation and supporting teams from around the world while enjoying the collaborative spirit of robotics.
