Are you concerned about your child’s mental well-being? Join a supportive community where you can share your concerns, learn from other parents, and discover effective strategies to support your child. The AACS Mental Health Initiative will partner with Students Leading Educational Opportunities (SLEO) to host a Listening Circle to facilitate conversations about youth mental health with AAPI parents, create awareness about mental health needs, and encourage help-seeking behaviors in the community.  This Listening Circle is one of a series of training/meeting events organized by AASC Mental Health Initiative in the season of 2023-2025. It will be facilitated by Dr. Hemla Singaravelu, professor of professional counseling at Webster University, and Dr. Min Liu, professor of health communication at SIUE. Both of them have worked on youth mental health awareness. They will provide deep insight, coping strategies, and valuable resources to support your child’s mental and emotional well-being. Join us and connect with other parents who understand the unique challenges associated with youth mental health.
