SLEO is proud to recognize 12 exceptional students with the prestigious 2024 Presidential Volunteer Service Award, the highest honor for volunteerism associated with the White House. These students earned their awards by completing the required volunteer hours for their respective age groups, including Young Adults, Teens, and Kids. Each recipient received an engraved certificate and a congratulatory letter from U.S. President Joseph R. Biden. In addition, seniors (12th graders) were awarded a medallion for their achievements.
These awards celebrate the students’ dedication to SLEO’s three branches—Chess, Debate, and Rubik's Cube—and their commitment to public service within the community.
