SLEO Leaders Donate to and Visit KidSmart STL.

On November 4, student leaders from SLEO visited the KidSmart warehouse in Saint Louis for a tour of the facility and a chat with their Manger of Corporate Giving, Megan Douglas. Before the start of the tour, SLEO leaders Sophie Zhang, Vera Ewing, Adam Jiang, and Roy Zhu presented a $2500 check to the organization, an initiative started by Sophie Zhang and Bohan Pan at the beginning of the year.

“We hope that this will not be a one-time donation,” says Roy Zhu. “I hope that we can continue our tradition of supporting other education-driven organizations in the Saint Louis area, which starts with our generous SLEO donors. Thank you for all that you do to help both SLEO and the greater Saint Louis community.”

Sophie Zhang and Roy Zhu then participated as volunteers to help pack books that would later that week be given to individual teachers to bring to their students.

SLEO would like to thank KidSmart STL for hosting us and allowing us to learn more about running a successful and long-term non-profit.
